Polyurethane (PU), by its nature tends to fade with ultraviolet rays, so the user must know that if they use PU holds on an outside wall and exposed to sunlight, the colour will change over time, the vibrant colour will fade.
For indoor use, Polyurethane Holds retain the vibrant colour and are unchanged over time.
This change is especially significant and noticeable in PURE WHITE, FLUORO GREEN, FLUORO YELLOW, FLUORO ORANGE, PURPLE VIOLET AND BLUE. Instead, basic pigments such as Red, yellow, green and Black have better UV resistance and will remain brighter for longer.
