Almost all Euroholds XL and XXL holds, have -since 2012- incorporated, this double anchoring system.
You can fix the hold with the traditional centre Allen bolt, or, in absence of bolt holes, use only the wood screw anchor points. The result is a secure, safe anchor in both cases. Using the extra screw holes totally eliminates spinning holds.
Extra note: This norm cannot be applied to holds with a high leverage respect the wall, i.e. big jugs. in this case all the bolts should be used, especially the center bolt to avoid breakages.
This system allows you to place the holds anywhere in the wall, regardless if there are T-Nuts available, and is especially useful in competitions, which allows endless possibilities for route-setters placing holds on the wall.
